TONIGHT: The Airborne Toxic Event @MauiArtsCulture, Fri., Jan. 20

Koa flames fight lovingly, painted together by nature to create the treasured Hawaiian Koa Wood.  This beautiful wood is shaped into jewelry boxes, bowls, jewelry, models, and furniture by Martin & Macarthur.  Their fourth and largest (3,300 ft2) showroom will open at 10 AM, Friday, Jan 29th at Whaler’s Village in Kaanapali.  At the opening, Kumu Chales Kaupu will bless the new store, owners, and employees.  All products are made in Hawaii by local crafters.

The grand opening will continue on Jan. 30th, from 10 AM – 12 PM.  There will be free entertainment from Hana-based Leokane Pryor and his band Pohai Kealoha, and Roselani Haupia ice cream will be served. Yum… By: Sierra Brown
