Tequila Rockstar: Born to Rock. Built to Last.

It’s time to launch a new flavor of RockStar Energy Drink, called the “Red Rocker,” in honor of Sammy Hagar.  The Red Rocker Slogan is already the perfect punch-line for a Rockstar Ad Campaign: Born to Rock. Built To Last. Pretty Bad-ass (for an old guy). Also, this energy drink is going to contain a shot of tequila, because of Hagar’s self-proclaimed tequila aficionado status. We know you put vodka in your Redbull, so we might as well just cut out the middle-man.  Plus, vodka is bad for you…just ask yesterday’s hangover. Tequila is much healthier.  Now that Van Halen is no more, Hagar is touring as a solo artist, with The Wabos as his permanent touring band. BAMP Project brings us this boxer turned Hall-of-Famer who produced these hit albums with The Wabos: Red Voodoo, Ten 13, Not 4 Sale, and Livin’ it Up.  Sammy Hagar & The Wabos are playing at the Castle Theater, Maui Ars & Cultural Center on Friday, April 9, 2010, at 7:30 PM.
