Last week Central Maui walked the walk against domestic violence, and now this week it’s the Westside’s turn. Walk a Mile in Her Shoes is coming to the Lahaina Gateway Center. Sponsored by the West Maui Domestic Violence Task Force and Women Helping Women, this will be Lahaina’s first Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event. It challenges men to come out in their best heels and walk for the cause. Further, WAMIHS sparks the conversation about the causes, effects and solutions to domestic violence.
