Maui Dawgz and Psychatomic presents “Funk Da End a Da World” this Friday and Saturday. The two-day festival pays homage to the end of the Mayan calendar and will include more than 15 bands and entertainers from Maui, California and beyond. Headlined by George Porter Jr. & Runnin’ Pardners and Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, other acts include DJ Logic, Monophonics, Big Sam, Jug Dealers, Afromassive, Brown Chicken Brown Cow, Kanekoa, Bruddah Waltah, Afrolicious, Free Radicals Projekt, MothXP, Ultra Violets, Flash Drive and the Kit Kat Club Cabaret.
