Stella Supper Club presents HAPA. HAPA’s 20 year run has proven music to our ears while being termed the “The most successful group from Hawaii in recent history” by The New York times, the duo has proven that the proof is in the pudding. Named after the Hawaiian slang for “half” or “mixed”, Hapa’s sound is a blend of traditional Hawaiian song, chant and hula. With experience on the small and big screen, HAPA has made appearences on Hawaii-5-0 and appeared on Sandler’s “Just go with it.” Barry Flanagan and Keli’i Kaneali’i were original members and later Nathan Aweau and the late Charles Ka’upu joined. Come celebrate 20 years of oli (chant), mele (song) and hula with Hawaii’s beloved duo. Dinner & Show $60, 6pm. Show Only $30, 7:30pm. Stella Blues (1279 S. Kihei Rd, Kihei); 808-874-3779, www.stellablues.com

Aloha Jen,
Mahalo for helping us spread the word about our canoe tours. Our tours have been very successful and we will be changing our suggested donation to $65 per person as of December 1, 2012. Please make this adjustment in your description of our tour. We are glad to have supporters like you help us with our mission to restore Ko`ie`ie Fishpond and educate our community about its cultural importance.
Thank you so much Koieie. Keep us updated and hopefully I can go on a canoe tour soon too!
