Gather your ohana for the annual Ki Ho’alu Guitar Festival, which will take place on the grounds of Maui Arts and Cultural Center. Literally translated as “loosen the key,” the festival has been attracting the elite in slack key guitar for the past two decades. Look forward to an afternoon of song, locally made merchandise and food available for purchase. The impressive lineup includes Hapa, John Cruz, George Kahumoku Jr. and many more. Guests are invited to bring a blanket or low laying beach chair to watch the show. Free. 1pm-7pm. Maui Arts and Cultural Center (One Cameron Way, Kahului); 808-242-7469, Mauiarts.org
