Thursday, Sept. 20: Brown Ohana Hawaiian Music Concert at Picnic For Poki

Every third Thursday, Roselani Place and Na Mele Productions hold an event called “Picnic for Poki” with the goal of spreading aloha and sharing Hawaiian music with Maui. The event is held in remembrance of Allen “Braddah Poki” Pokipala, a talented musician and longtime entertainer. The Brown Ohana will perform traditional Hawaiian slack key and Roselani Place will provide cookies and drinks. Roselani Place suggests that attendees bring something to sit on as well as lunch. Free. 11am. Ka’ahumanu Church (103 South High St., Wailuku)
