This Sunday, The Studio Maui in Haiku is the place to be to pay homage to our lovely mother earth at the Mother Earth Day Festival: Live Consciously, Consume Sustainably.  Keys of Creation, Erin Smith, Jamallad, Mountain, and Isa Inca Hansen will serenade attendees during the daylight hours. After a vigorous Maui-wide search for Maui’s Da Kine’st live musicians, Timba has now added Erin Smith, and the reggae / funk sounds of the Alliez to their weekly lineup.  Starting, Thurs November 19th w/ Erin, Timba will host Erin Smith & the Alliez on alternating Thursdays.

Erin Smith, also known as the lead in The Throwdowns, graces the Happy Hour stage at South Shore Tiki Lounge every Thursday. She sung a very special song for me which I will excerpt here in a video. As for the act at the bar, I have challenged the bartenders to pair a cocktail with a nutterbutter. Never one to shy from a challenge, Renee H has made me a Peanut Butter and Jelly martini. Mmmmmm nutty.
